The living room is scented with Kiwi Garment Starch.
From obsession on polishing bicycle to obsessive ironing of Civil Defence uniform.
National Service promotes the usage of starch and iron.
The corridor is almost hollow for the visit by Thai goverment.
Heh, why my congested pigeon hole?
Please, make a bigger flat for your people in Thailand.
We all need a wider kitchen window to dry our clothes and make sure its not blocked.
Actually, my family need a bigger flat. Sigh.
Sheesh, it was tiring and my head is killing me.
I have a headache that has to be controlled since i chose to be at chalet for Ja n Sharky. The chalet at Changi was a nice yet eerie looking 1934 colonial house. I like the orange colour tho. He was there to help us with the preparation. Thank u a million, sayang. Gave him Dan Brown and coke for him to sit and take care of some stuff while Shark n I went grocery shopping for bbq stuff. At the chalet, Shark prepared sandwiches while i prepared my deteriorating quality macaroni tuna. Its not that nice like when i cooked it in KL. Too hot for him too but so far macam Alhamdulillah, the round tummy dat i soooo love not making any problem. In the evening, Fadzli and him did the whole 'manly' barbecue process. I noticed how ballistic guys get at starting the fire, arranging the coal, fanning the fire and cooking the food perfectly brown and not burnt. Ahaha, but of cos there were burnt edges. My garlic bread is okie but the herbs making it bitter. Sharky's wonderful effort of making cheese hot dog enticed us a lot. Its delicious k. Hot dog being sliced and then pieces of cheese stuffed in between the fissure. Always admire her simple creativity with food. Mark, Helda and Wana came later when we were all exhausted of waiting. Sheesh, Mark really pampered his best friend with gift. A Guess watch, a bottle of Salvatore parfum and a pair of indie earrings. He then hid the gifts in different rooms for a lil treasure hunt game. Btw, Wana is pretty with balanced features. Helda adorable and malu-malu pulak. Probably cos there was a new face. Later near to midnight, the lights were switched off as we hid at the dining area. Nazeer led the blindfolded Ja into the candle-litted living room. Its beautiful and insya-Allah, i will upload the pics. We were supposed to surprise Ja with sparklers but by the time we were supposed to go in, the sparklers died on us. So we surprised Ja with laughter and sweats. Helda was screaming for Ja to hurry with the sentimental moment and blew the candles so that she can turn on the freaking lights and fan. Ahaha, see how close we were that such display is not easily misinterpreted as being selfish or rude. Lights turn on and fan saved us but Ja still all teary with the beautiful surprise. It was another great birthday moment for her and i am glad that i am witnessing it this year with him. Then, proceed to the dining area and chatted as we feasted on prepared food plus delicious COCO EXOTICA. After the arrival of another 2 Ja's frens and after Ja got the gifts, Fadzli, him and I made our way back as it was getting really late. I pity him cos life is not the same with him. My parents are way too lenient with me, i guess. Next will be my trip to JE cos he deserves that.
Anyway, its Maulud Nabi today kan? I wish i am clean because i thought of going to Bak Alwi tomorrow evening. I miss the good old time of making many efforts to go to the mosque. K, have to help my student with her karangan on today's teens. Teenagers....siiiiiiighhhhh!
