Siapa punya lantern ni senget-benget?

Ah...its my student's, my form class and it is senget-benget just like the cikgu. We had Lantern Making Competition todayin conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration next week. Very interesting and all the kids did a very good job in being creative in their art work. Lotsa effort and passion given despite of cos, there were hiccups in making a perfect round lantern. FTPSS are not always a disappointment and superficially 'notorious', it does make good students. Below are some of my malay students that i had been teaching since last year. I like them working together despite of differences. Unfortunately, i didnt get to take pic of my 3N5 representatives except for Farhana at the extreme right because my batt refuse to spare me a few good sec. She is helping the other class to complete the lantern since our class finished earlier.

This is the 4T. Very creative and very nice lantern. They won every contest last year and the team spirit was really marvelous. I hope this year they will win a lot too cos they really put in a lot of effort and by far, the best 4T ever as agreed by the teachers.

These are only a few. I wish i could take more but my batt was flat. For O level result this year, our Malay boy made it to the top w 6 A1s and 2 A2s. I hope this inspire other malay students in our school to do very well for their O this year. Tomorrow, i will be holding a Malay remedial for every Malay students in the other class. Will see how many will come since they complaint about the other teacher. Sumtimes i think the kids just finding excuses not to blame on themselves. Not that i dont trust them but i believe if they are matured and driven by the desire to suceed, they shudnt let minor circumstances be in control but instead work something out around it. I am talking about finding me after school or anytime to clarify learning difficulties.
